A tiring day it was.
Shu has not secured his second subject due to technical issues. Let me tell you what happened. It was quite a pain for him, that after securing that most anticipated slot in Political Science, he decided later to cancel it since it was not in his plan of study. A big problem might happen if he is to continue such. But the truth is, after being told by his friends Squatch and Mayah, he can still take Political Science unless he will change his plan of study. What a pain that struck his heart! It is alright to process his change for his plan of study but it is not alright to give up that slot, especially when someone is going to take that slot. After all, Shu likes the subject and he already knew who will be the instructor. So what now? He will try to reacquire that precious slot the next day and if it is impossible, he is going to have his prerogrative the other day. ‘May the Lord help me!’
Anyway, Shu met Zhang, Zheng, and Macro this afternoon. By the way, Macro is Shu’s coursemate, batchmate, cellmate and friend just like Sarang and Kuweschon, and is another monster in the university. Shu treated them for a snack and all were delighted. Talking about monsters, it is so amazing to know that Zhang is the most monster of all, obtaining a very high mean grade of 1.25. How amazing! Afterwards, Shu and Macro were undecided on what to do next until both agreed to relax themselves and play the ancient defense. They played 3 games and in the middle of the game, the bad news arrived in Shu’s ears, care of Squatch and Mayah. After hearing the news, Shu gradually lost focus in the game but can still play. Hehe, it was still fun!
So now, he is to continue to find suitable and good slot for him. ‘May my Lord who is rich in grace supply all my needs!’
At long last, a blog is updated. As unexpected, since no one expects for me to post. I just hope people are still visiting my blog. Ok, I will update this blog as often as possible.
The finished semester is (use present tense for factual statements) a success. Even though the real target of Shu was not achieved, he achieved the next higher goal. I just want to thank all those people who constantly and continually prayed for me during those times. May our gracious Lord bless you more and more.
The summer break has always been boring. Sleep. Wakeup. Eat. Watch TV. Use Internet. Nap. It was all just a cycle that I could not bear any longer. Whenever boredom invaded the medulla oblongata of mine, I would eat so that I would not think of such things. But I know my Lord is always there to help me. Moreover, add to that boredom is the holy week. Yes, I remembered what the Lord did to us. But, the 3 days beginning from Thursday, it was so quiet and in addition, there were no television shows. Hehe, I just did not know what to do.
Well, the summer break of Shu is finally over and it is time to refresh his thinking caps since he is going to take summer classes. But he is still not in possession of slots. (By the way he plans to take 6 units = 2 subjects). Besides, his paternal parent told him to take taekwondo classes so that Shu can protect himself from external dangers of modern society. Well, he is Shu’s father, so he should be followed. Actually, Shu has a background in the Korean martial art but because of budget and time constraints, he eventually discontinued taking such. But now, he is ready. Shu has always wanted to study taekwondo. I suppose you know the reasons
For this summer, here is his master plan:
1. Take 2 subjects and obtain uno grades in both subjects.
2. Take taekwondo class and be a better jin, upgrade belt color.
3. ACM training. Shu has to fare betterer (yes, betterer) in ACM-ICPC which will be held on October 26-27 in ADMU, a 2nd runner-up finish among locals is good. He is so excited to program, and to meet people especially genuine Koreans. (Why genuine? hahaha).
4. Most importantly, gain weight. Shu asked Teasan to assist him so that he can gain weight. His target is to initially achieve 5-10 pounds of weight.
Well, my dear friends, please pray for me. I still have not reserved slots and I hope I enjoy this summer and with the Lord’s help, achieve the success of my master plan.
